The TIG (or Tungsten Inert Gas) welding process uses non-consumable tungsten electrode which passes the current to welding arc. This Tungsten Inert Gas Welding process is also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding or else by the first letters GTAW. The tungsten and other hot materials are protected by inert gas by the cooling effect. TIG welding process was first started in the year 1931 and was used during the times of World War II.
In the past two articles we briefly outlined rolling mills, and also expounded on three different types. In this article, we will finish the series outlining the differences between a four-high rolling mill, cluster rolling mill, continuous mill and a planetary rolling mill. A compacting rolling mill is used for the purposes of converting powder, or powder like materials into a continuous strip. Typically, the continuous strip is processed through a sintering furnace prior to being processed into finished productions. A compacting rolling mill is usually a 2-high mill with configurations of either a horizontal or vertical plane.

The focus will be on the two-high pull over mill, two-high reversing mill, and the three-high rolling mill.
